The Business Finance Partnership (BFP) aims to increase the supply of capital through non-bank lending channels and, in the longer term, to help to diversify the sources of finance available to businesses.
Note that Capital for Enterprise is not able to offer advice to individual businesses on the range of funding options that are available to them.
Other programmes beyond their investment periods, but under the oversight of CfEL, include the Small Firms Loan Guarantee, the Regional Venture Capital Fund (RVCF) programme, the UK High Technology Fund, Early Growth Funds, the Capital for Enterprise Fund and a large portfolio of regional funds established by the former Regional Development Agencies.
